The Federal tax credit allows homeowners who install any of our qualifying models to claim 30% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum of $1500. In order to take advantage of the one-time Federal tax credit, homeowners must install a qualifying unit in 2009 or 2010, and claim it on their 2009 or 2010 Federal income tax forms, respectively. What is it? The Live Oak Gas Link is a wireless propane tank level monitoring system consisting of two pieces, a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter connects directly to your propane tank and the receiver connects to a phone jack inside your home.
What does it do? It allows us to ensure that you never run out of propane by constantly monitoring the propane level in your tank and alerting us when you need a delivery.
How does it work? The system calls Live Oak Gas every night to report current levels
What do I have to do? The only thing we ask is that if you ever notice the receiver does not show a green light, make sure it is plugged in. If it does have power and you still do not see a green light, call your Live Oak Gas office.
Will it interrupt my telephone calls? No. The Live Oak Gas Link receiver knows when youre on the phone, so it will not interrupt your call. The receiver will wait until you are not using the phone before making a call to our office.What happens if I pick up my telephone and I hear static noises? This simply means that you picked up the phone while the receiver was making its phone call. This does not hurt anything. Simply hang up, wait a few seconds, and then check again. The receiver spends about 12 seconds each time it calls in your tank level to us, so the chances of it interrupting you are very slim.
